GIRLS LIFELINE ORGANISATION; founded in 2017 with the purpose of empowering youth and women. Gllo is a youth lead non-profit organization that advocates and empowers youth and women aged 15-30 on matters of sexual reproductive health and rights/HIV and Aids prevention, livelihood and skills development support.
Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights
These activities have greatly impacted on youths in proper decision making when it comes to matters related to sex and Marriage as its thought through in relation to health and other related risks. These activities are, focused group discussions and dialogues on SRHR,
- Menstrual Health Training and material distribution
- (HIV and AIDS prevention , Teenage pregnancy, Family Planning, Child care training)
- Youths medical camps,
- Strengthening linkage and referral system of SRHR service from community to public, Private and organization facilities. – Advocacy

Livelihoods
Improved community livelihoods and reduced poverty levels among rural, underserved and vulnerable to disaster communities through provision of basic agricultural information, inputs and tools, geared towards a sustained and strengthened economic transformation and development.
Vocational Skills & Entrepreneurship training; Activities Improved community livelihoods and reduced poverty levels among the youth, young mothers & fathers and other vulnerable populations through provision of vocational & Entrepreneurship training, establishment of a well-equipped and reliable vocational skills training center for sustained and strengthened economic transformation and development.
Agriculture and Food Security
Here, we focus on best way to contribute to the improvement of community livelihoods to join the fight of reducing poverty levels and nutritarian for body boasting among rural, underserved and vulnerable to disaster communities through holding Agricultural support programs to disseminate key information on how to best utilize available agricultural support resources as individuals. and community levels. Linking farmers with buyers for their animal and crop produce to motivate them to produce more for both food and sale.
Food Security is one key area of emphasis to the communities we reach out to so as there is at least food always and not registering starvation as may bring about health issues and for so, we try to procure some medicines used to treat food that are to be stored such as maize, beans, soya and others and seed to grow and multiply, of the current good quality breed.
